On Saturday, we took the horses for a ride. We started out with Elena in the backpack, but I also let her sit on the saddle with me. At one point, my horse suddenly turned sideways in the trail. I looked down to see Sprout reeling in one of the reins...
Here is a picture I had to share. Bill and Jessica have given us many toys that their kids have outgrown. I think Elena feels like a princess sitting on her throne and pressing buttons, but at one point she nearly gave Karen a heart attack. Notice that I reached for the camera rather than grabbing soon-to-be-falling child.
