On our way home from Donnelly today, we decided to stop by Skinnydipper Hot Springs. When we arrived there were six people already soaking in the tub. They were very friendly and invited us to join them in the tub. Karen is very much a "Textile" bather, while our new acquaintances were not. They were very friendly folks, most of whom were retired (read old and saggy). Two of the gentlemen soaking built the tub in 1995 and maintain the area almost weekly.
One of the gentlemen offered to take a family picture for us (above). This wasn't working well because Elena wasn't looking at the camera. Our new acquaintances were exceedingly helpful. Two of them bailed out of the tub and stood behind the cameraman. One of them held his hands above his head to block the sun in Elena's eyes while the other one danced around to get her attention. Here you will see that Elena's face is nicely shaded and Karen is trying desperately to remove the "dancing sack" images from her memory.
